Co-op: Product Documentation Engineering (Spring 2020)
The purpose of this position is to assist the Quality Engineering department with
assignments specific to manufacturing and industrial engineering tasks.
Assignment will begin on January 13, 2020 and continue through May 8, 2020 at 40 hrs/week.
- Creative assignments to support local and global business objectives
- Active participation in continuous improvement collaborations to facilitate and lead the generation and implementation of ideas.
- Assist experienced engineers in implementation of product changes into the production facilities
- Participate in training and development to support project team deliverables
- Learn the processes, ways of working, and environment involved in the implementation of product projects for a global company
- Attention to Detail: Monitoring adherence to standards and actively checking for accuracy of data received or generated before passing it on
- Communication: Listening effectively, transmitting information accurately and understandably and actively seeking feedback non-defensively
- Flexibility: Performing a wide range of tasks, responding to changes in direction and priorities, and accepting new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments

Minimum Education and Experience
- Applicants must be currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Engineering at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the co-op.
- Co-op positions require the student to be enrolled in an off-campus course in which they receive course credit or academic transcript notation from the university/college for their co-op period.
- Co-ops are required to work 40 hours per week and are NOT enrolled in academic courses during their co-op period.
