Senior System Verification Engineer

INTRODUCTION

Passionate towards Non functional verification? Integration and Hardware verification team in Electrical and Software Architecture is hiring!
The position holder will report to Group Manager, Integration and Hardware verification, BMLT.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To discover issues in the framework as soon as possible in the development process.
  • Responsible for checking that the basics are in place before higher level functional checks can continue.
  • Responsible to check electrical behavior of the circuits in the vehicle.
  • Secures that all ECUs are in the correct power state in different vehicle modes, to avoid battery drain.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

  • BE/B.Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Framework verification.
  • Good knowledge of vehicle network architecture, communication & diagnostic protocols (CAN, J1939, ISO 14230, ISO 14229)
  • Experience in hardware and Power management concepts.
  • Experience in debugging Hardware Issues.
  • Basic skill in using test and verification measuring and monitoring (preferably CANalyzer and/or CANoe) equipment.
  • Experience System testing of automotive products.
  • Create and develop test specifications based on the system specifications baseline.
  • Hands on experience in with lab equipment’s like Digital storage oscilloscope, multimeter, current probe, bus analyser, CAN Stress tool.
  • Good communication skill (written and verbal) in English.
  • Basic Knowledge about the Electronic/Electrical Architecture in a vehicle.
  • Good level of knowledge in both Electrical & Electronics Technology.
  • Good domain knowledge on the Test & Verification area.

GOOD TO HAVE:

  • Knowledge about Truck/Vehicle environment and Truck Application.
  • Ability to be flexible between highly technical as well as management activities.
  • Good skills in Problem Solving and proposal of solutions in a short time.
  • To work in a highly technical area with a business mind-set which will help the organization.
  • General knowledge of product development process followed for electrical/electronic hardware.
  • Good knowledge on common verification / validation processes.
  • Basic knowledge of international Environmental / Mechanical / Electrical Requirements according to ISO 16750.
  • Basic knowledge on Ethernet principles.
  • Knowledge of truck features and how these are used.
