Service Agreement Manager/Specialist (short-term assignment)

The Service Agreement Manager will coach, bring expertise to the team and implement the correct way of working
Contract processes

  • Review any product offer, support the team to provide accurate technical price based on CQ-ONLINE, historical data and appropriate budget curve
  • TP to be used for the commercial decisions with the involvement of Sales, Aftersales, CFO and MD
  • Secure that CFO does the provision if commercial price different from TP
  • Ensure all service contract guidelines are followed and adjusted where necessary
  • Review the contract template to update the technical price when it varies 10% (+/- ) during the contract lifetime
Portfolio management
  • Support the team managing the portfolio of service products
  • Review performance of the Service Portfolio, identify any areas of risk and possible improvements in processes with SA Aftermarket team and BC
  • Propose and modify processes as required
  • If necessary build reliable additional budget curves
  • Analyse the global Service Contract database for repair and maintenance contracts and recalculate technical prices if necessary
  • Analyze high repair cost to determine root cause, recommend and implement solutions
  • Identify, monitor and analyse all “Technical Risks” and SLA partners are exposed to in relation to Service Contracts
  • Use the automated report to monitor the portfolio health (Qliksense as short-term solution)
  • Control the 3rd party quotation and bank reports
  • Regular audit to be performed at the dealers, 3rd party and customer
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other departments (Warranty & Quality) to secure processes and costs are executed and allocated correctly
  • Support the markets in the implementation of the Preferred way of working for Service Contracts: products, processes, system developments and portfolio management
  • Identify market needs and convert these in practical solutions
  • Responsible for correct implementation of the business process, according to Volvo’s preferred Way of Working


  • Accountable for performance reporting of the Service Portfolio and will advise of required actions
  • Prepare with the team and Business control to provide the Monthly performance figures to report in the BRM in a timely manner
  • Involved in projects, helping to implement changes to further improve our successful position
  • Provide markets with technical price recommendations about new products by working with UDTT and HQ aftermarket team

  • Minimum 5 years working in service agreement management or administration
  • Proven business acumen managerial and commercial experience who is willing to invest in self-development and has strong organizational skills

  • Strong understanding of finance and business control
  • Ability to implement new processes
  • Highly analytical and attention to detail
  • Broad working knowledge of TSA, VOSP,CQ systems is an advantage
