Solution Leader – Volvo Bus and Collaboration

The Volvo Bus and Collaboration team is part PLM area in the RnDP solution delivery unit which has the responsibility to deliver applications used in the Volvo Group within CAD, covering both unique (TD/BA) and shared (Global) solutions. We have full responsibility for runtime (cost, quality of service) and for the delivery of projects. We support roadmap design and long term planning in its area.
You will be part of a global team where you will play an important role with the rest of us in contributing to setting vision and strategy as well as working with continuous improvement. You will identify business needs and define improvements for IT solutions to make the daily work more efficient. You will be responsible for leading the business and end user both for the Volvo Bus area and the Collaboration area.

You act with a sense of ownership and work with the stakeholders in mind. You have the end to end responsible for the IT solution towards the business. You are the glue between IT and Business. You will identify business needs and establish that the solution delivery plan is aligned with the level of business criticality for the solution.

You are open to and enjoy change and you must enjoy to actively cooperate with various stakeholders around the world and to navigate in a multi-cultural environment. It is important you have an innovative and creative mindset in order to inspire and challenge in your organization.
- Very good understanding of CAD tools and how they are used within various Volvo organization
- Experienced from Product Development
- Knowledge within PLM
- Experienced from Volvo Bus preferable
- Good Communication skills
- Good with networking and relationship
- Self-driven and open minded
- Relevant Engineering degree
Location will be in Gothenburg.
