DEX Warehouse Lead

DEX Heavy Duty Parts, a leading supplier of recycled, renovated and surplus medium- and heavy-duty truck parts, is expanding its capabilities with the addition of a new facility in Oklahoma City. DEX is hiring for multiple positions in Oklahoma City, including technician and supervisor roles, and is seeking hardworking, energetic people to join the DEX team. Candidates should have experience in diesel maintenance/repair, heavy-duty truck service, warehousing, or body shop work. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinates work assignments under the advice of the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Guides the warehouse associates within their designated area on work instructions
  • Maintains all paperwork related to their designated area
  • Ensures that assigned tasks are completed
  • Trouble-shooting and problem solving within the Warehouse group
  • Assists in maintaining safety operations in the warehouse
  • Actively participate in all warehouse functions
  • Play an active role in the training of new personnel
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5 or more years warehousing experience preferred
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Forklift certification
  • Advanced knowledge of quality standards
  • Proven computer skills within Microsoft Office programs
  • Employees in this position must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance; the majority of time is spent standing and walking. You must have the ability to climb, bend, squat, reach, grasp and lift.
