Complete Vehicle contributes to deliver the right Products & Services to all Volvo Group brand customers according to product segmentation and brand positioning. In Complete Vehicle we are a team of specialized functions with various responsibilities: Aftermarket technology developing aftermarket solutions for the brands; FVV breaking down features to technical requirements, as well as verifying and validating products and services; Product Design translating the soul of the brand to a product message; Product Builds delivering all truck and component builds; Special Vehicle Development developing niche products.

Aftermarket Technology provides Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, Mack Trucks, UD Trucks, VECV and partly Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Bus and Volvo Penta with the best possible solutions supporting their aftermarket business. Thanks to our deep technical, business and customer knowledge, we deliver solutions and services for the salesmen, the mechanics and parts personnel at dealerships and other service points such as Spare Parts Assortment, Parts Information, Diagnostics and Repair Information, Service Planning and supporting systems solutions and tools. In Aftermarket Technology we aim at securing that Volvo Group Truck vehicles can be easily maintained to secure uptime. Aftermarket Technology teams are working close to engineering functions as well as to end customers and are located in Hagerstown, Greensboro, Lyon, Gothenburg, Curitiba, Ageo, Bangalore and Brisbane.

Aftermarket Technology (AMT) is a global entity working to maximize the uptime of the vehicles for Volvo Group Trucks brands. Customers’ success is our focus.
Active in all R&D activities, we are engaged in future technologies for both vehicles and uptime services. We are focusing on connectivity, digitization and predictive care for our customers. The Service and Parts Engineering team (SPAE) is a newly formed team that likes to have fun and to learn together, and in this team you will be able to work cross-functionally.
We are accountable for the maintainability of the vehicles by influencing the design and the technology choices, we make our vehicles and components easy to maintain, and we improve the vehicle uptime, customers’ success and thus the Volvo Group profitability. For each vehicle launched on the market, we deliver Operations and procedures, Spare Parts assortment and information, Repair and Maintenance Solutions, Diagnostic solutions, Special Tools and Standard Times.

What will you work with?
As a Manager for SPAE, you develop the team to support future challenges contributing to AMT strategic focus and business. You will be responsible for leading and developing Service and Parts Assortment Engineering products for vehicle domain, and also to foster an innovative and engaging culture where we attract and retain talents to keep developing future technologies for uptime services.
In this role, you will drive teams’ efficiency and effectiveness in close collaboration with the global management team, and drive strategy and continuous improvement initiatives together with different functions and stakeholders. You will lead operational excellence, synergies with global function for our products and services.
You are expected to contribute and develop quality initiatives for securing built-in quality of our products, and support with knowledge management initiatives together with global team.
In this position you will be a member of the Service and Parts Assortment Engineering global management team, also be part of the Aftermarket Technology site Greensboro management team and report to Director - Service & Parts Assortment Engineering, Aftermarket Technology.

Education & Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s degree preferred
- 8-10 years significant experience from globally working in product and business development within automotive industry
- Previous experience in supervising and leading team and a curiosity to learn and develop yourself in a global/multi-cultural organization
- Ability to manage different requirements and expectations through strong negotiation skills
- High level of personal integrity and capability to act as a team player
- High autonomy and decisive
