Regional Sales Manager- Pre-owned Coaches

Job Summary
The Pre-Owned Regional Sales Manager assists customers with information and advice on Pre-owned inventory listing of products with the objective of satisfying customer needs and meeting the company's sales objectives.
Core Responsibilities
  • Establish priorities for the sales territory and initiate appropriate action plans to implement the strategies and meet the objectives outlined in the management plan;
  • Ex . Analyze customer list on territory, establish a list of visit with demos, schedule calls implementing the Customer Relation Management.
  • Work closely with other departments (New Coach Sales, Branch Managers, Service Managers, Parts Managers, Commercial Administration, and Aftermarket etc.) within the Prevost / Volvo organization, a matrix structure with the sales team in order to maximize customer satisfaction and financial results;
  • Evaluate and prepare trade appraisals according to market value and approved guidelines and submit to the Director of Pre-Owned coach Sales for approval;
  • Prepare agreements and negotiate the terms with customers with the objective of concluding mutually profitable arrangements; carry out all activities needed to complete the transactions;
  • Develop, jointly with the sales and service functions, a global approach designed to maximize penetration of target markets; Ex. Analysis of customers and their fleet ,
  • Manage Inventory and be proactive in showcasing the inventory to enable a quick turnaround for achieving sales objectives. Demos, web site update.
  • Assist and advise customers on financing options; with the help of the Finance team;
  • Provide pertinent information to help the company measure results, assess risks and establish action plans to meet objectives;
  • Organize, follow and coordinate promotional and social activities for Prevost Car and its customers; i.e. Local state shows, visits, open house.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase the level of effectiveness of the sales function; implement appropriate action plans;
  • Act as a representative of Prevost with customers or other organizations at business or social events.

  • Processes a Commercial Vehicle License
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office product Mandatory
Minimum Education Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor degree a plus
Minimum Years of Experience Required
  • 5 years related experience with a minimum of 3 years in sales and marketing with an emphasis in vehicle sales, a technically related industry or similar field.
  • Mechanical training or knowledge of heavy duty diesel vehicles or equipment a plus.
  • Bi-lingual (English, Spanish, French) language skills is an asset
  • Strong Teamwork Skills
  • Brand & business ambassador
  • Up-to date- Bus CDL is a plus
  • Desired Characteristics
  • Travel required, up to 40% domestic and international
  • Availability on Eastern Time
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office product Mandatory
  • Comfortable maneuvering and inputting information in Web based applications
Physical Requirements
  • The ability to sit and stand for long periods of time while traveling.
